Blood Machine
Camilla, the PNER blood machine is made available to riders at several NW regional rides. Camilla is an invaluable tool should your horse experience a mystery issue during the course of a ride. Blood results are also valuable if you want to track your horse's blood values before, during and after a ride. This competition tool helps a rider to learn what's "normal" for their horse, and catch when something isn't normal.
Once your horse has vetted through and passed their initial vet check, prior to competition, you are not able to see your results until after the competition is finished.
This is the most cost effective way to get reliable, affordable bloodwork for your horse!

It's always a good idea to consult with your horse's regular veterinarian to discuss your horse's results. Ride veterinarians are sometimes able to give your results a cursury overview to help determine whether treatment at the ride is necessary or not. Consulting with your own veterinarian is always recommended.
